He has worked with thousands of people with his workshop series 'Stories Tell Us' and 'STORYenteering' - from the youngest of school age children to adults in all walks of life. Never a 'one-size-fits-all' experience, each event is tailor made to fit the needs of the group and the realities of time and budget. Filled with play and highly interactive, the time together leaves participants feeling empowered, confident - and capable of navigating the intensity of standing alone in front of an audience.
Highly in demand with schools, Jeff offers three types of school experiences:
1) Performance. With the magic of the Celtic Harp, the wonders of Story are brought to life…through short classroom visits, or full days booked to see the entire school population in smaller audience groupings.
2) Storyenteering. A short residency experience - usually of 3-5 full school days. Storyenteering Residencies are usually booked all in the same school week (sometimes over 2-3 weeks). Culminating in an evening celebration, these residencies bring amazing community building for the whole school community.
3) Storytelling Festival. A minimum of 10 full days, these residencies extend over 2-3 calendar months (a day or two per week). Filled with laughter and vibrant storytelling coaching and performance from Jeff, these residencies equip young people with the essential tools to be confident and comfortable with public speaking. Incredible learning and engagement across the whole school from students and staff.
